After a long, arduous battle with addiction, Nicole's brother is 10 months sober and we got to attend his rehab program graduation! Words will never express the gratitude we have for this moment, and we wanted to share it with all of you, our internet family. Nicole started her journey through nursing school over a decade ago, while Kyle's experience is in the present. This past weekend Kyle and his team competed in a softball tournament in Rancho Cordova, CA. They played for 44 hours straight, all day and all night, both teams going undefeated into the championships! It was SO exciting, the greatest tourney weekend the teams have ever had, and we're so excited to share it all with you. Kyle's been playing slow pitch softball recreationally for the better part of the last ten years, almost all of it with me cheering in the stands.
