Her singular melodies quickly caught the ear of industry pros, leading to collaborations with artists like American rapper Twista (produced by Toxic Productions out of Blockhouse Studios in Chicago). Freestyle and Dance iCon Stevie B has just released hit newest single “Take It All Back” featuring multi-platinum recording artist Pitbull remixed by DJ Sama.  A new era of dance music was born when Miami native Stevie B’s first independently released single “Party Your Body” hit South Florida’s glittering club scene in 1987. After years spent paying his dues doing everything from mowing lawns to washing cars, Stevie B’s skills as a writer, producer and performer thrust him into the pop spotlight. “Party Your Body” worked it’s way across America, eventually selling over 200,000 copies, an amazing achievement for an independently released single. This success paved the way for Stevie’s debut album “Party Your Body.” The album gave birth to two more hit singles, “Dreaming of Love” and “Spring Love”, which propelled the album to RIAA Platinum status. In 1989, Stevie B’s sophomore effort “In My Eyes” showed him growing as an artist, as the album took on a much more sophisticated flavor. In addition to his trademark dance songs, the album also featured smooth and soulful ballads and giddy pop tunes. “I Wanna Be The One” solidified Stevie’s crossover into the pop market as the song rose into the Billboard Top 40. However, it was the power ballad “Love Me For Life” that took Stevie all the way into the Top 10 and made him the artist with the highest debuting song in the history of R&R magazine. Like it’s predecessor, “In My Eyes” went onto RIAA Platinum status, setting the stage for Stevie B to become a household name worldwide.  Though the record debuted in the Top 10, “Love & Emotion” was released in 1990 to little fanfare. In fact, it was largely ignored until radio stations began getting barraged with requests for “that song about the postman.” That song of course was “Because I Love You” (The Postman Song) and it would be a highlight and pinnacle for Stevie B taking the Number One spot on Billboard, and remaining there four consecutive weeks.  “Love & Emotion” also garnered RIAA Platinum status. Stevie B’s career has been a whirlwind of success, with three RIAA Platinum albums containing a total of thirteen Top 40 dance and/or pop singles and one Classic #1 Hit. From heart-stopping ballads to hip-shaking dance songs, Stevie B does it all, and his new hit single “Take It All Back” will surely put him back on the charts as it is going to be burning up the radio airwaves and clubs all around the world.  Watch the “Take It All Back” (DJ Sama Remix) lyric video produced by Tolga Katas here: https://youtu.be/69bMbE2VxMg Don’t Miss the Freestylin With Stevie B Podcast Hosted by DJ Sama Fridays at 7 PM ET at https://www.facebook.com/steviebmusic and https://www.facebook.com/steviebent Follow Stevie B on the web:   Official Website:   https://www.steviebmusic.com   Youtube:   https://youtu.be/69bMbE2VxMg   Facebook:   https://www.facebook.com/steviebmusic   Instagram:   https://www.instagram.com/stevieb_official/   Spotify:   https://open.spotify.com/artist/6V7pNWhlJpD0s0bMdB1PU9   Tik Tok:   https://www.tiktok.com/@steviebmusic

Los Angeles based Comedian and Recording Artist Marc Gordon stops by the show to discuss his latest EP project "Thoughts and Prayers" along with his views on current events in society. Marc Gordon masterfully developed a comedic music video to voice a clear message for change. While Marc has always shared an interest for politics, he also knew that the best way to have your message heard is not always the most ordinary. Marc is combining his extraordinary talents in comedy, music, and production to create a powerful message for mass visibility, attention, and a need for change. Marc's mission is to use comedy to create awareness and educate people on the reality of politics and to remove that blindfold when voting. Marc is a strong believer of inspiring change collectively, "we all have to come together in order to make changes." He is hoping to use his platform much like: Howard Stern, Steven Colbert, Trevor Noah, Seth Meyers, Bill Maher, to name a few. We caught up with Marc Gordon and here is what he had to say about Trump, the Republican Party and his new video… He has written and produced a 5-song Hip Hop and EDM EP, "Thoughts & Prayers". The title track of the album, "Thoughts & Prayers" is a protest song in the style of "Rage Against the Machine" about the rising gun violence in schools. The song calls out politicians for their inaction while taking large sums of money from the NRA. Marc hopes the album will raise money and awareness against gun violence. The rest of the album is focused on storytelling. "I am an Artist" is an introspective track about the struggles and importance of constantly creating material", said Marc Gordon. Marc Gordon, who gave insights into other songs on his EP, noted that "Not on the List" parodies a typical night in Los Angeles where people often end up at clubs without being able to get in because they haven't been put on a list. Marc Gordon said that "Virtual Reality" takes you on an immersive ride into the fantasy world of VR. #podcast #trump #trumpnews #cannabis #cannabiscommunity #cannabisculture #cannabispodcast #marcgordon #new #newmusic #news For more info follow Marc Gordon on Instagram @marcsgordon

On this episode Serendipity Works CEO/Founder Jordan C. Arrant stops by. He's also the founder of Drum Drop Music. Jordan, just released a new single "I Hate Country" and we get the opportunity to hear it after the interview.  We are storytellers. Born and raised near Hollywood, building stories of all kinds is in our DNA. Not everyone can craft and maintain a high quality narrative that connects with people, but we can, and we like to bring that skill to brands. We use our deep entertainment experience to help clients of all sizes discover their unique brand stories and then facilitate the expression of those stories in a variety of visual mediums. Many times this expression comes in the form of video production, but it also can be through social media, design, web, and more. By keeping our team lean and only ramping up when a project calls for it, we can also be budget friendly.  We love storytelling so much that we even spend part of our time developing our own original content as well. That is why we don’t consider ourselves just an advertising agency or yet another production company, but rather a creative workshop where Serendipity is the norm.   FROM POP-PUNK TO EDM, AND BEYOND Jace Arrant was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, the world's music mecca. He was a drummer in a pop punk band for years, but as with many wannabe rock stars, this group fell apart before striking it big. Jace, however, didn’t want to let the dream go, so he decided to try to reinvent himself years later as an Electronic Dance Music DJ /producer.  If we are being honest, Jace was a much better drummer than an EDM producer, but after a weird head injury at his day job, Jace discovered five new imaginary friends that will change the trajectory of his music and his personal life, for better or worse. His latest tracks are somehow a mix of Blink 182, The Chain Smokers, and The Lonely Island, and his adventures with the Dummy Bears are just beginning. Follow along to see what happens next! On this episode National Recording Artist Mercy stops by to share her new single "Going Down" and we get the scoop on some other things she's doing in the film world. She also shares a fun fact that no one can google about her anywhere. You don't wanna miss it! MERCY isn’t your typical Hollywood fairy tale. Born in Sun Valley, CA to a rock musician and a second-generation circus runaway turned film and television sound editors, she’s no stranger to the struggles of what it takes to ‘make it’ according to the standards of ‘the biz’.   Her parents divorced when she was two and, although they were struggling financially, they agreed to provide her with piano lessons. She started composing her own music when she was just six years old. She made her feature film debut in Stuart Little along with numerous voice-over projects. Just as her young Hollywood career seemed about to take off, the rug was pulled out from beneath her when her mother and stepfather made an abrupt move to Albuquerque, NMfollowing the promise of steady work.   To escape her abusive stepfather, MERCY ran away from home in her mid-teens. She found herself in Las Vegas with her at-the-time boyfriend singing for money on the street corners. Covers of Madonna, Heart and the Spice Girls provided enough money for them to survive while sleeping in her truck. When this proved to be a hard way to live, she moved back to California and into her father’s home. Coming back to Los Angeles was no easy thing. She floated aimlessly, developing an addiction to alcohol that almost took her life. Fearing she couldn’t stay in LA, she made the hard decision to move back to New Mexico after being accepted into the University of New Mexico.   She supported herself through college, working multiple bartending jobs. When money was tight, she resorted back to living in her car to continue doing the things she loved. She developed an immense passion to wander through the fringes of the entertainment industry, thriving in the strangest of places, all while working toward a dual degree in Forensic Anthropology and Psychology. With a great sense of adventure, MERCY has gathered more experiences, good and bad, than most people can even dream of. She has numerous alternative and tattoo modeling appearances. She transitioned into burlesque in 2010 after winning a modeling pageant at the Rock the Ink tattoo convention. She expanded her entertainment skills into Fire Arts less than a year later. She graduated with honors in 2012, quickly learning the mainstream career she was pursuing no longer existed. So she joined the circus, literally.   It was in this new environment MERCY was truly born! Her crowd-pleasing feats as a fire breather wowed audiences, fueling her ambition. She added fire dancing, glass eating and machete walking to her act with HELLZAPOPPIN Circus Sideshow Review. In 2016, MERCYlaunched her own two-girl circus road show, BIO DOLLS, a high-intensity, thrill-filled cabaretfeaturing aerial stunts, fire acts and acrobatics. MERCY has wowed audiences with her unique entertainment at New York’s premier pride event Siren, along with Harley Davidson’s Bike Week and numerous Electronic Music Festival performances. MERCY topped the bill as the featured burlesque dancer and fire performer for the Star Casino and five consecutive Rock the Ink tattoo conventions.   Between circus tours and spotlight shows, MERCY returned to the big screen as a background performer in 2015’s Maze Runner and in Shot Caller, released in 2017. She pulled double duty on Michael Bay’s 6 Underground starring Ryan Reynolds in 2018 as both an actress and stuntwoman.   In 2019, MERCY dove back into music headfirst, setting the stage for her techno-pop solo effort built on themes and subjects from her life to date – powerful vocals, hit music, circusextravaganza, sexy burlesque, flashy pyrotechnics and over-the-top entertainment. Her music was featured in India’s blockbuster SAAHO starring Prabhas and her first single, BHAAG “SAAHO BANG BANG”, was released alongside the official movie trailer. In just two weeks, the trailer had more than 110 million views. Her next single is set to drop soon and dates for her debut European tour are in the works.   The acting roles kept coming, even as MERCY focused on completing her EP/singles, which were delayed until the summer of 2021 by the pandemic. She earned a part in Lana Wachowski’s Matrix Resurrections with Keanu Reeves and performed background/ stunt work in the Tom Holland/Mark Wahlberg Uncharted adaptation in 2020.   She’ll tell you herself, as she starts this new venture, she’s just hitting her groove. She has found where she belongs. Combining her talents as a singer, songwriter, actress, model and circus performer to showcase MERCY, you’re invited along for the journey with a simple promise – there will never be a dull moment – and a bit of advice - no matter what adversity life serves up, KEEP GOING. On this episode the Founder of Cathartic Realism Films Claire Chubbuck stops by to share her amazing story of how to turn Tragedy into Purpose. Claire shares some of the unique projects she's working on and her views on the Metaverse. Don't miss this special episode.  Who is Claire Chubbuck? Claire Chubbuck is an emerging female director that creates mission driven content that creates catharsis for those working on it - she calls it “Cathartic Realism”. Cathartic Realism is a genre where artists tell the story of their personal traumas to find healing through catharsis. A take on the “true story” trope, this genre allows artists to depict their truths - the way it felt to them, but with an ending where you win for the purpose of cathartic release. The only way we can let it go is to feel it. She works with actors to use the traumatic events in their lives to make art. Born in Los Angeles, California, Claire Chubbuck is the daughter of internationally celebrated acting coach, Ivana Chubbuck, and award-winning director/producer, the late Lyndon Chubbuck.  After going to Scripps College in 2007 for Economics, she graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with honors (recipient of the Founders Award) and a BFA in Filmmaking in 2012. Straight out of the gate she worked at AMC Networks as a Programming and Scheduling executive. While working there, Claire began creating short form content for SundanceTV’s International channels that was broadcast worldwide.  In 2013, Claire worked as a producer on “Pussy Riot: The Movement”, the first comprehensive film that tells the full story - from arrest through release from prison and beyond - of the remarkable women who defied a strongman, survived Russian prisons and rallied the world behind them. The documentary also examines the perversion of the Russian Constitution by ex-KGB officer and President Vladimir Putin. In 2014, Claire moved to Participant Media, whose films include Good Night, and Good Luck, Syriana, An Inconvenient Truth, Food, Inc., Waiting for ‘Superman’, The Help, Contagion and Lincoln. There she worked to launch a linear television network, Pivot.  In 2015, Claire found her fiancé dead of tragic circumstances and, in one second, everything changed. Since then, she has been trying to help other people find an explanation for their traumas - enough to move forward without shame - with a unique community of artists that want to create. She found this community when she began teaching at Ivana Chubbuck Studios. As a teacher, she has found great pleasure in being part of inspiring others, many to great success. After spending time teaching, Claire reemerged with a new directorial debut in 2019 with ‘how I lost my virginity’, a short film detailing her best friend’s real-life experience of kidnapping and rape - intended to provide catharsis while looking at the systematic problem that allow for the victims of sexual assault to far outweigh the perpetrators.  In 2020, “how I lost my virginity” won over 17 awards and was shown at several high-profile film festivals including Beverly Hills Film Festival, Chain Film Festival, Santa Monica International Film Festival, SF Indie Fest, Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, Marina del Rey Film Festival, among others. Claire personally won “Best Direction” at the Best Shorts Competition in addition “Best First Time Director” at Canadian Cinematography Awards, New York Cinematography Awards (NYCA), and Top Shorts Awards. The first theatrical showing of the short was at Marina del Rey Film Festival, where the short won the Audience Award for “Best Short”.  During the quarantine of 2021, Claire made an experimental film called (Corona) Viral Monologues, which had it’s theatrical premiere at the Chinese Theater as part of the Silicon Beach Film Festival, where we were awarded the Audience Award for Best Narrative Short. This hour long special won “Best Artistic Film” at the Atlanta Award-Qualifying Film Festival 2022, “Best Narrative” at the Washington Film Festival, was a semi-finalist for “Best Ensemble” and “Best Experimental Film” at the Los Angeles Film Awards, and was an official selection for the Global Indie Film Awards. Claire also won Vegas Movie Award’s Prestige Award for “Best Female Filmmaker” for this film. Claire currently has 2 short films in post-production, 2 short films in pre-production, and a feature film in development. Stina is a 21-year-old singer and songwriter, dancer, actor, and musician from Los Angeles, California. Chateau Music recently announced the release of her brand new single, Uninvited. The song is an exciting milestone for the artist, and an opportunity to show off her growth as a songwriter and performer alike. Uninvited is particularly special because it is filled with energy, and it sounds very relatable, but it also has a personal edge that really connects with the audience. The low end is so deep you can actually feel it in your chest, pulsating with every beat, especially if you are listening to this track with a good pair of headphones or a set of awesome speakers! The sound of this production is very wide ranging, and it offers an in-depth, almost cinematic tone with massive lows and silky smooth high-end, which really does wonders when it comes to increasing the sense of high-definition and clarity. The song is loud and polished, but also warm and clear, really bridging the gaps between modern-day records and old school production values, and combining the best of both worlds in a very seamless and direct way.
