She believed that she could learn more if she stepped away from the UN. And she did! She obtained her Master’s at Stanford and had one of the best years of her life! Throughout her journey, Florence focused on being humble and exemplary. She also strikes the balance of pushing yourself and asking for help! Her top advice: Try things out. Know your parameters and then just jump. You don’t know until you do it! Take a listen to Florence and you will be inspired to take that risk! Florence  has worked in Central Europe, Africa and Asia for the United Nations and the World Bank Group, non-profit organizations and social enterprise incubators. Since 2007 she has supported entrepreneurs around the world to launch and grow their companies in sectors including biodiversity, ed-tech, water and sanitation. She has been recognized for recruiting talent, growing teams and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Her extensive global network and her genuine passion to match people's talents with organizations' purpose led her to start her own company, Kichocheo – meaning ‘catalyst’ in Swahili- to help purpose driven organizations reach the next level of success.Florence has an M.S. in Management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).Florence is French.
