Understanding that Washington has a previous reputation of being overlooked and a weak team, especially in the NFC East, Terry assures the guys that his team will be back this year and no longer the one that media and fans write off early in the season. Believing in Sam Howell as quarterback, Terry shares his excitement in the upcoming season and comparing him to the similarities of Joe Burrow.  Terry talks about the sudden passing of former teammate and friend Dwayne Haskins and how losing his friend changed his outlook on life and how he struggled to make sense of him no longer being able to live his dream out of playing football. Mental health is something Terry has embraced, taking seriously and opened up about his vulnerabilities which he feels has changed his frame of mind on and off the field, expressing that it’s ok for you to go to therapy, especially for men.  Make sure to subscribe and check out our clips channel for exclusive content from our NFL training camp visits as we have a sideline view of practice, drills, sit down conversations with key players and an experienced outlook of what it’s like playing in the NFL and how players navigate the way.  Learn more about your ad choices.
