From the beginning, the light hearted fun spirit entertainer led the conversation as Ryan and Fred peeled back the layers of Druski learning and understanding how his journey has shaped the person he is today. Being raised by parents who stressed education first, Ryan asks Druski what made him stray from the academic route and turn to comedy. He shares that when he first got to college, he realized it wasn't for him and began chasing his passion. Druski credits his mother for playing a huge role in who he’s become today and how his mom's support and influence was key to his comedic success. Sharing his long term goals, Druski talks about how he would love the opportunity to act in a biopic, impersonating Heavy D if he had to pick and eventually forging his place atop the list of best comedians ever. Being able to receive respect and acknowledgement from industry idols such as Issa Rae and Kevin Hart, Druski jokes that hanging with Jack Harlow and Drake is cool but it wasn't until he started turning the heads of females that he knew he made it. Opening up about trying to find his calling and realizing through a lot of odd jobs he has had over the years that he never felt like he was in the right place but normalizing wanting more for yourself has been a big part of Druski's climb to the top. Although he went through a dark transition period, Druski isn’t afraid to share what those moments were like and believes that every person needs to go through some tribulations and be tested. Helping others through his story, his message to young people is to disconnect from phones and the internet once in awhile and learn to sit with yourself to really have moments of reflection.
