Self-doubt is one of the biggest things that holds us back from creating the life we want to live! It’s time to kill our self doubt giant for good. Where does self doubt come from? [2:02] “Self doubt comes from a story that we tell ourselves, and for many of us a story that we have been telling ourselves for years.” “A story gets planted in our mind, and we water with our attention over and over again, until it becomes this repetitive, spiraling thought that seems to control our life.” “How can I take action, despite the fact that I may not have evidence, to create a new story that I’m about to tell-the story of being good enough, being beautiful, having what it takes?” Tips for Self-Doubt [5:07] “Really get clear on what you want and who you want to be.” “We’re projecting our fear of judgment onto the world, but at the same time it’s really us who’s judging ourself.” “Check your own judgment.” “Growth happens when we get uncomfortable- recognize that the fear and judgment of what others think is likely a huge obstacle that’s in the way.” “If we can’t escape judgment, why don’t we start focusing on ways things can go right?” “Change the narrative to ‘If they can, so can I’.” “If you want results you’ve never had before, then you have to do something you’ve never done before.” Visualize It [15:40] “We don’t manifest what we think, we manifest what we feel.” “Our subconscious mind is not built to think in negatives.” “If I tell you not to think about a pink elephant, you start thinking about a pink elephant! Your subconscious doesn’t think in negatives. It hears ‘Think about a pink elephant’.” “We need to visualize where we want to go, but also realize where we are in the present.” “We steal our own joy when we fail to let our best be good enough.” Get Curious [22:45] “A big part of why we doubt ourselves is because we don’t know ourselves.” “We are so crippled by the thought of doing something wrong, that we don’t do anything.” “I was already living my worst case scenario.
