Your gut health affects your overall health. And when you struggle with chronic illness, it is easy to think “Well I am sick so I am just going to be sick.” But it doesn’t have to be that way. There are things you can do to make yourself the healthiest you can be, even in your state of sickness.  Many people don’t know this, but Audrey has struggled with chronic sickness for many years - and she has gone through traditional health care + holistic health care circuits to figure out what is going on. In today’s episode, she is sharing her journey! From the onset of her sickness, the physical and mental challenges she faced, the seasons of trial and error with her diet, the critical role of mindset in healing, and what happened in Costa Rica that changed her health journey completely.   If you are struggling with your health, we hope this conversation is insightful and gives you hope for healing in your journey + encourages you to advocate for a balanced approach to your health. ♥️ In this episode we talk about:  🫠 Why Audrey broke up with Jeremy in the middle of her health journey  ❤️‍🩹 The power of your mindset when you are healing your body 🩺 Balancing holistic medicine and traditional medicine approaches  ☀️ Why Costa Rica was deeply healing for Audrey + her health  Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. How do you get your kids to eat like that?! 😅   We are constantly asked about our eating habits – from what we eat in a day, what we buy, how we food prep, what we feed our kids, and what healthy snacks we feed our kids – and in this episode we are going to share all about that (and more).  Name one thing that is worth achieving that takes zero effort. Nothing. It doesn’t just magically happen, just like being healthy doesn’t just happen. It takes effort and it is usually the harder choice. It takes being conscious of what you are fueling your body with so you can live a healthier lifestyle. Food is fuel. And the right fuel takes effort.  At the end of the day, it comes down to aligning your family values with your overall health, which includes what you eat. For us, maintaining a holistic healthy lifestyle always aligns with our Christian faith and the interconnectedness of physical and spiritual well-being. If you are curious about how those go hand-in-hand and are interested in learning more about how we align food with our family values, listen in! ♥️ In this episode we talk about:  Why real food is so important and how it impacts your overall health  Ways we introduce healthy eating habits with our kids  How we align our family values around health + food  What conscious eating + spiritual awareness have in common  Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. “How do you plan to give birth this time around?” 🤔 We are a few months away from giving birth to baby #4!! And most of the questions we are asked center around how we plan to bring this little one into the world.  We have been through the birthing experience a few times now – from hospital births to giving birth at a birthing center. We are *hopefully* coming to the finish line of our home renovation … and that is largely to due the fact that we are less than 3 months from having baby #4. So we realllyyyy would like to have the home + baby finish line aligned.  So this episode is a raw + vulnerable BTS look at our home renovation. We don’t ever want to shield the reality of our life and the challenges we face, especially if we think it could help others walking through the same or similar things. So we are inviting you into this conversation about our home renovation; we’re peeling back the curtain and sharing the reality.  If you are thinking about doing a renovation or curious about how the renovation process works, we hope this episode is helpful. ♥️ In this episode we talk about:  ☀️ The reality of our day-to-day lives during this renovation  🌟 Why Jeremy has taken on the role of General Contractor (and why we didn’t hire someone else for that)  🫠 Things we wish we would have done or decided months before the actual renovation  💛 The tension of not regretting the renovation even if things could have been done differently  Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff Family Values Planner The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. Why do you practice Sabbath? How do you do it with little kids? 🤔  If you have followed us since before we had kids, you know Sabbath is a big part of our values + something we talk about often. It’s a practice we align with + since having kids, it has evolved but the goal remains the same: to return to the present moment.  Sabbath isn’t a cool idea. It is a necessity and a natural law of reality. We need it! Yes, it is a choice, but if you want to be healthy + aligned with how God created you, you must Sabbath. ♥️  In this episode we answer the biggest questions we get asked about Sabbath – why we do it, the importance of it, ways we practiced Sabbath before kids, and ways we do it now that we have little kids.  GIVEAWAY! 🥳 We’re giving away “These Are The Days” sweatshirts. What does identity really mean? How do I discover it? How do I walk in it?  Identity is an eternal journey discovering what God did when God made me. The more you walk with Him the deeper you understand yourself, and the more you love your neighbor. When your job, your role, or your responsibilities become more important than your identity, you lose yourself. So how do you stay connected to who God made you?  “Identity is not the name of our religion.” - Jamie Winship joins us for a conversation all about identity. He is breaking through false identity + guides us through understanding what is true and how we can experience that truth.  Jamie offers online courses that help people discover their true identity and experience a life of joy, peace, and freedom. Our Identity Exchange Coaches are trained to help you recognize the false beliefs holding you back and begin the movement into your true identity. We are back with Part of this Holistic Health conversation – and if you haven’t listened to Part 1 yet, do that first! 🎧 Over the last 5+ years we’ve been on a health journey (and we have become incredibly passionate about it). The biggest thing we have learned is that our human bodies can be more aligned with the Creator – true health is to be completely harmonized with God. 👏 Last week we shared our high-level approach to holistic living. This week, we are getting super practical as we share a list of ways we have been supporting our health over the last few years; from things we have tried, things that have worked, and things we have not (yet) tried.  We are NOT experts in this. We don’t have it all figured out. We are still learning! But we are on a journey and we are passionate about it + we hope this sparks some ideas for your own journey. ✨ In this episode we talk about:  Circadian Rhythm – what it is + why it is important to understand for your overall health Ways fasting, prayer, and meditation impact your physical health  The questions we ask as a family when it comes to vaccines  Links to anything we mentioned:  Family Values Planner (33% off for launch get it for $10 until February 14)  Natural fiber clothing faves Non-toxic cleaners  Wool Dryer Balls  Natural skin care products: CBD beauty boost, tallow Non-toxic makeup AUDREY20 for 20% off Non-toxic cookware  Best glass food containers   Stainless steel water bottle  Naturepedic crib mattress   Beef Liver supplement   Magnesium supplement, magnesium spray, magnesium kids lotion  Epsom bath salt  Loose leaf tea  Halogen light bulbs Kombucha Mineral sunscreen Non-toxic tampons Mary Ruth liquid supplements  Natural immune support - all my favorites are linked here Natural fever reducer  Kids Homeopathic for colds Oscillococcinum homeopathic for flu Homeopathic travel kit  Grounding mattress pads + mats Vaccine-friendly plan book Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Shop Audrey’s Amazon Storefront Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. If you follow us on social media, then you know we share about the holistic changes we’ve made over the last few years – what we’ve done, why we’ve done it, and why we believe those changes matter. 💌  But more so … this is something we believe has become a necessity for holiness. ❤️ The mind, body, and spirit relationship is symbiotic. And truthfully, you are limited to the health in any one category by the health of all 3 categories 🤯 What started as a curiosity has become a lifestyle for our family, and we sharing more of that journey in this episode. From the little changes to the ones that take more time (and research), we’re moving toward a more holistic lifestyle that supports holiness.  We are going to talk through a list of simple swaps we’ve made in our home – and we do NOT want to overwhelm you. This list is not something we decided to change over in a day, it took time. So give yourself grace, take your time, do your research, and embrace whatever journey you are on when it comes to making changes towards a more holistic lifestyle ✨  In this episode we talk about:  How we became united + on the same page with our health (it wasn’t always that way) Why holistic living has become so important to us  Changes we’ve made over the years  Links to anything we mentioned:  Favorite non-toxic Amazon alternatives Young Living Essential Oils  Young Living Diffusers Amazon diffuser My friend’s course Hormone Healing Academy code AUDREY50 for $50 off! Happy New Year!! ✨ The holiday season was FULL of movement for us. We spent Christmas at Roloff Farm (in the home where Jeremy had Christmas every year growing up!) then went to our cabin in Spring River before heading back to our temporary home with Audrey’s family. 🫠 We’ve lived out of luggage for the last two weeks, and there is a reality to it that social media just doesn’t paint! So, we want to share some BTS of our experience over the last few weeks. BUT more so, Jeremy faced his “dragons” and went back to his childhood home for Christmas. You say the word “Santa” and it brings up a diverse perspective of experiences, memories, word maps, and pictures. 🎄So let’s talk about this – because for us, we used to sit on side of the Santa-camp and now we find ourselves moving towards the other side.  Like many things in parenting, Santa is something we’ve changed our minds on. Simply said, we are allowing Santa in our home (+ it means something different than “doing” Santa to us).  We are all about protecting our kids’ childhood and allowing them to cherish childhood. We want to give them a childhood that fosters their imagination and lets them be little. If you find yourself having conversations around Santa in your home + how to foster childhood while maintaining truth, we hope this conversation serves as an invitation to discover what works best for your family.  PS - have you heard the news? We’re pregnant with baby #4! 🥳 So we thought this was the perfect episode to talk about expanding our family, how our parenting has evolved, what we’re excited (and nervous) about with baby #4, and so much more.  When it comes to parenting, we all want a formula but there is no right-one-way to do it. Did you know we are remodeling our home? 😜 If you didn’t it’s ok! We haven’t done the best job sharing about it online. Renovating our home means we’ve moved in with family. It’s us, our kids, and Audrey’s parents navigating life, homeschooling, work, and the renovation. And it has been quite overwhelming! 🥴  A big question we are getting about all this is … “how is it living with your parents?” That question typically comes with the expectation of a negative answer. Over the last year, our perspective around alcohol has evolved and has led to a pretty significant shift in our lives. Our heirloom Memories of Christmas journals are back!!!🎄These beautiful 25-year Christmas memory books are the perfect way to record and cherish your Christmas memories, photos, cards, and recipes throughout the years and precious keepsake to pass down through the generations. They are officially available today for podcast listeners at memoriesofchristmasjournal.com.  With holidays coming up, travel may be in your future (whether in a car or on a plane), so we thought this was the perfect time to talk about traveling with little kids! 😆 For us, we value traveling enough that we didn’t want to wait until the kids were older to travel. We know that travel breaks up routine + opens our kids’ eyes to new perspectives. But we also know it is NOT easy … especially with little kids. There are things we have discovered over the years that have made traveling with our kids easier; not perfect, but easier. 👏 We are going to share things we’ve learned along the way – from packing, knowing what strollers and car seats to bring, mapping out daily schedules, the best time to board the plane, things we use to keep our kids entertained on the plane and SO much more.  Another big part of today’s conversation is all about screen time. We know it is a hot topic. We are not anti-screens but we have a stricter screen philosophy than most people. And we want to talk about how we integrate screen time into our travel.  So, let’s take off + get into this! ✈️ In this episode we talk about:  Why we want our kids to travel and learn through travel experiences Our travel philosophy + how our parenting style speaks into it  Cars vs. plan travel (hacks we do differently for each method of travel)   What screen time looks like when we are traveling   Links to anything we mentioned:  Memories of Christmas Journal  The Bucket List Family  Our jogger stroller  Doona Carseat/Stroller  Doona Bike  Slumber Pod Tonie Box code 20AUDREY for 20% off orders over $99 “Goldbug Book” aka one of our favorite books for the kids  Boat Bag aka our “throw all carry-on bag” for travel Baggu Crossbody best-oversized fanny pack Homeopathic travel kit  Portable sound machine Connect with us: Instagram I @audreyroloff Instagram I @jeremyroloff The Marriage Journal  Memories of Us Anniversary Journal Creative Love  A Love Letter Life  Debt Free Journal  Some of the links above may be affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase the item(s) using these links. We get A  LOT of questions about how we came to the decision to homeschool our kids. Let’s talk about church  ⛪ We have experienced many versions of the Christian church, and have openly shared them over the years. In our culture right now, there is a lot of sentiment around church; from church hurt, to frustrations, to people leaving church and not attending anymore.  Over the last few years, we have found ourselves wrestling with the gap of what church should be like and what church is actually like. It has been a journey but we are landing on solid ground. 🥾 Our hope is that this conversation inspires conversations within your home, family, and marriage about being a follower of Jesus and what being part of the body of Christ means for you.  Ps - have you left the podcast a review yet? Every relationship has conflict - it is universal + inevitable! But what sparks the most conflict in your relationship? Is it stress, lack of time together, money, hard days at work or with the kids? (Speaking honestly: for us, it is often when we overestimate our capacity and take on too much!)  The good news is that there are SO MANY ways you can help prevent conflict, healthily work through it, AND learn from it. The idea isn’t to get rid of conflict, but to use it to strengthen your relationship.  Behind the Scenes Podcast is partnered with Compassion International. Memories of Us has launched - and just in time for Valentines Day! We believe this journal will carry great weight and impact, beyond your marriage + for generations of your family to come. To celebrate Memories of Us launching, we are diving into why making memories + marking moments is SO important to us and how you can cultivate this in your relationship too. We love what Corrie Ten Boom brilliantly says, “Memories are the key not to the past, but to the future.” Beyond making memories, we love to “lock it in.” This is our way of creating a mental tattoo of important moments to us; moments of celebration, loss, disappointment, or even just the little daily moments of discovery, connection, or breakthrough. It has become part of our marriage culture and we hope to encourage you to find your own way to integrate this into your relationship too!  Behind the Scenes Podcast is partnered with Compassion International. We are SO excited for today’s episode because we are covering a lot of ground!  First, we are going to tackle a fear floating around our world today when it comes to relationships: the fear of being cheesy. And how that fear holds us back from pursuing creativity in our love stories.  We are also going to play a fun game that involves YOU guys! We asked you on Instagram to share some statements/assumptions about us, and we are going to answer those.  A lot of those questions had to do with the farm. And we have been processing this all summer + are finally ready to share an update with you. While it won’t answer all your questions, we know that it will bring enough clarity as we share our hearts.  And finally, we are going to talk about roles in our relationship (something you all have been asking more and more!)  So grab a cup of coffee, sit fireside, and let’s dive in!  Behind the Scenes Podcast is partnered with Compassion International. When you sponsor a child, you receive a FREE copy of our latest book, Creative Love. To Sponsor A Child - Compassion.com/Roloff or Text ROLOFF to 83393. If you know us, you know that we THRIVE off of adventure + spontaneity! Sure, we need routine, but we also need newness. It is about finding that balance, stepping out of your comfort zone, and saying yes to moments along the journey.  Adventures make good stories and they teach you so much about who you are, who someone else is, and how your relationship responds to life and situations.  Our world today has over complicated and over saturated the truest form of adventure. We are constantly comparing our life to someone else’s and thinking we have to have the picture perfect adventure in order for it to be worth it. But that is not true at all!  The muscle of adventure is there. It just takes flexing + creativity to unlock it. And once you do, it is well worth it!  Behind the Scenes Podcast is partnered with Compassion International. When you sponsor a child, you receive a FREE copy of our latest book, Creative Love. To Sponsor A Child - Compassion.com/Roloff or Text ROLOFF to 83393. In this episode you’ll hear:  3 key components to a good adventure  The principle of spontaneity + how you can use it in your relationship  How you can (and should!) incorporate your kids into your adventures  Questions you can ask one another as you define what adventure means to you  For all things mentioned in this episode check out the Podcast Blog Post.
Communication is the most crucial component in marriage. It can strengthen, heal and acknowledge your commitment to grow your relationship.  We live in a fast paced, convenient world that does not value the power of writing things down or communicating well. And one of the biggest things that come against healthy (+ creative) communication is social media. If not harnessed and wrangled, social media will rob you of your love story.  Communication isn’t just a big conversation once a night before you go to bed. It can happen in creative ways throughout your day. Affirmations, sticky notes, letters - all of that. They are powerful! All it takes is a bunch of words strung together to build a beautiful story. There are little things you can do everyday that have weight + make such a big impact in your relationship. We hope this episode motivates you to do the small, simple, attainable things that come with big rewards.  Behind the Scenes Podcast is partnered with Compassion International. When you sponsor a child, you receive a FREE copy of our latest book, Creative Love. To Sponsor A Child - Compassion.com/Roloff or Text ROLOFF to 83393. The podcast is back!  But we aren’t just excited about the new season of the show, we are also celebrating our new book, Creative Love ... which releases TODAY! This book is an essential follow up to A Love Letter Life. It is a snack book, as we call it! Creative Love is not meant to be a book you read in one sitting. It is a book full of ideas, challenges, and questions that help cultivate creativity in your relationship throughout the rest of your life. You can put it on your coffee table or night stand and reference back to it often!  In this episode, we are going to talk about how 2020 looked to us, what it meant for marriages, and how we are going to take action together this season on the show to link arms and cultivate a creative love together.   Behind the Scenes Podcast is partnered with Compassion International. After a ton of prayer, endless hours of conversation, and plenty of tears, Jeremy + Audrey have decided to close the shop, Always More. If you have been following Audrey for a while, you know how difficult it was for her to make this decision. ⁣These words, inspired by Ephesians 3:20, are a reminder to ALWAYS believe in the MORE that is within, through Christ. Over the past 15 years, ALWAYS MORE has not only been a life mantra for Audrey, but it has also become a community, a clothing line, and a source of hope, inspiration, and encouragement to women around the world. There are countless stories about how ALWAYS MORE has helped so many people through loss, heartbreaking diagnosis’s, mental illness, miscarriages, becoming a mom, athletics, starting a business, or pursuing a dream. More than they ever imagined! ⁣⁣⁣We hope the shop closing doesn’t stop the ALWAYS MORE message continue to spread. The beautiful thing about encouragement is that it’s free to give, but it could be of infinite worth to the person receiving it. And that’s what we hope ALWAYS MORE will always be. ⁣#alwaysmore All things mentioned in this episode are linked HERE. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Are you living the kind of story you would want read back to you one day? In other words, if someone were to read your life, would you like the story? We are big on living with intention and purpose. From our relationship, what we eat, the products we use in our everyday life, our time, how we decorate our home, and everything in between. You have to be aware in order to be purposeful. And to get to that place, you have to establish rhythms and routines that support what intentionality looks like for you. We are constantly looking for ways to live more intentional and in this episode we are sharing some of the things that have deeply impacted our lives lately.  Read more and get all the links for things mentioned in this episode HERE.  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We have been loving this season on the podcast and one of the biggest conversations we are continuing to have is around the idea of rest and slowing down. Emily Ley justs released her 3rd book, When Less Is More, after a season of redefining what “the good life” meant to her.  Her book was written from the trenches where she felt deep burn out even though a lot of good things were going on. She was saying yes to everything and soon her life and company became more complicated - coming against her foundational message of simplified. She felt really disconnected and far from herself.  You are going to love this episode! This is one of the most inspiring guest interviews we have ever done on the podcast. And it involves one of our favorite organizations - Compassion International. Kiwi is a Graduate Compassion Child from the Philippines. She started in Compassion at age 7 and now works in the medical field in Dallas, Texas. Her story is incredible! She talks about her journey of becoming a Compassion child and the impact it had on her life, her family, and her community. Now she is a sponsor to her own Compassion children. Compassion is a an organization that works with local churches around the world to sponsor children in need. One of the unique things they offer is this letter writing system where you can write letters back and forth with the child that you're sponsoring. And you guys know how much we love letters, so it is no surprise that we are big fans of Compassion! We cannot wait for you to hear this story from Kiwi. A few weeks ago we went to visit our friends Brian and Mary Heffernan of Five Mary's Farms! Wow! What an experience it was! From being on the ranch, sleeping in cabins, enjoying amazing farm to table food, and having even better conversation. The whole trip reminded us of the dreams in our hearts! Brian + Mary have been together for 14 years and have 4 beautiful little girls. They left a busy, corporate life in Silicon Valley to pursue a life of ranching and raising children in a rural small town. They have rediscovered success and are on the narrow road toward their dreams. They are big dreamers who are not afraid of taking action on their dreams! It's the final episode in our friendship series and it's been so fun having our friends on the show to discuss community and lifelong friendship! Today we are talking about the difference between community and friends - which comes down to love drenched accountability. Community goes beyond catching up, just hanging out, and showing up for the big moments. It is about committing to every moment, leaning into growth, and being a constant stance of love and support for your friends (both in good and hard times). Community is a beautiful and biblical thing that we hope you experience! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Reality is: if you can fall in love, you can fall out of love. Sometimes it happens by choice and sometimes through situations. But, we can all work to protect our relationship. In this episode we talk about how we do that through boundaries, rhythms, and prayer. Culture has overvalued the wedding day and undervalued the promise of forever within marriage, in the same way, they have overvalued virginity and undervalued purity. So we unpack what purity looks like to us and how we should refocus our energy on fighting the purity battle and not just the virginity battle. Today we are talking with John Mark Comer! Few people have had more of shaping and influence in our life and our spiritual development. Whether it's his podcast from Bridgetown Church, actually going to his church, or his books, we have learned so much from him. Jeremy and I actually met at his church, 9 years ago. It was the first ever service of their downtown campus in downtown Portland. Today we talk with him about marriage, relationships, and God's design for all of it. Check out all of his books because he is a wealth of wisdom when it comes to many other things. More audiobook readings! We are reading from the chapter titled A Creative Type of Love. This is our favorite chapter! I know we said last week that the Principle of Sharing was our favorite, but this truly is our favorite. We share stories from when we were dating about how we chose to PURSUE CREATIVELY. DATE INTENTIONALLY. LOVE FAITHFULLY. This is essentially where our "Love Letter Life" began; in the typewriter letters, long distance dating, and desire to do things differently. We hope you enjoy listening to these audiobook readings. Share with us what your favorite chapter from "A Love Letter Life" is. What about it resonates with you? Today we are sitting down and talking with Jeremy and Jinger Vuolo. If you recognize those names that because they are on the TLC show "Counting On" and Jinger grew up on the show, "19 Kids and Counting." We get to dive into the Vuolo's love story and how they prepared more for their marriage than their wedding day and being newlyweds like ourselves. We talk about what they're doing to be intentional and how they protected their purity, and how they're pursuing oneness, and the early stages of having a baby. So we get to hear all their thoughts on that and ultimately what they are doing to pursue a love letter life. It's a really fun conversation. We think you guys are going to love it! In this episode, we are sharing more of our new book, A Love Letter Life! This is probably one of our favorite chapters in the book. It talks about a love story that helped shape our love story. And within that story, there is a principle that we loved and chose to be intentional with it. We are talking about the principle of sharing. The idea of sharing your life with someone else and striving towards oneness. Loving what they love, and allowing yourselves to build thousands of strands of oneness and togetherness. There is plenty more to get from this episode so make you listen! Follow us on Instagram: @behindthescenespodcast @audreyroloff @jeremyroloff Grab a copy of A Love Letter Life or get the audiobook. For this week's episode, we are so excited because we are sitting down to interview the couple who has probably had the biggest impact on our love story in our marriage today. Chris and Jamie Herb. Jamie was Audrey's college mentor and Chris was the Area Director for Young Life when Audrey was in college. Chris and Jamie had a huge impact on Audrey's college experience. When Audrey started dating Jeremy, and they got engaged, they asked Chris and Jamie if they would do the premarital counseling. They inspired the Marriage Journal. They inspired so much of our book, A Love Letter Life, which is available everywhere now! They were huge supporters of Jeremy and Audrey in their relationship leading up to their wedding day and to this very day as well. And also just huge supporters of them in the writing of A Love Letter Life and Beating 50 Percent and all the other things that they do. We hope that you receive something amazing from this interview because it is full of gold! See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We have another sneak peak into our book that just released, A Love Letter Life. This one is the first chapter, which is titled A Patient Pursuit. It's all about our time of friendship; from when we first started hanging out. We discuss how we continued to prepare ourselves as individuals for the eventual day that we would be married. And then also just what it looked like for Jeremy to bravely and persistently pursue Audrey. During this time, we spent lots of time around community and other friends and just learning more about each other. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It's book launch day!!! A very big part of the reason why we wrote A Love Letter Life, was that we felt very strongly, when we were engaged, that we wanted to be more intentional about preparing for our marriage than preparing for our wedding day. It's something that our culture as a whole, especially our generation, has lost sight of. We spend all this time planning this epic wedding day, but then forget to prepare for an epic marriage. That's something that we are really passionate about. So we are going to share six things with you that found super helpful during our engagement that helped us prepare for our marriage. Hopefully they will help you in whichever walk of life you are currently in. To order our book, go to: https://aloveletterlife.com. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

In this podcast, we share 8 ways to pursue Jesus in college. People say, if you can survive a home renovation, then you can survive anything. We survived two home renovations in six months! Not to mention, one of those renovations took place while Audrey was seven months pregnant and the other when Ember was only one month old. Through the renovation we learned a lot, the hard way! We are taking your behind the scenes into our home renovation process, both the intentional renovation and the unintentional second renovation that was thrown our way. We're going to talk about how we did it, what went wrong, what we did wrong, what we're so glad we did, and share some tips and tricks that we learned along the way. After 14 years over 300 episodes and 17 seasons I made the decision to leave Little People Big World. It was an amazing run and played such a huge part of my life. I would do it all over again, which I believe sums up my feelings about it pretty well. However, there are seasons for everything and in this next season, Audrey and I want to shift our focus. We want to focus on our calling, not just our comfort. In this episode, we dive into why I decided to leave LPBW.
