In follow-up interviews with Richard, the story started unraveling, and he was seemingly changing his story every time he was asked about what happened. He even admitted to an affair he was having, but in one version of the story, his wife encouraged it, while in another, she didn’t know anything about it or the baby that this other woman was going to be having with Richard.
