Indeed, Hien is a prolific educator who has taught thousands of students about minimal intervention dentistry and cariology all over the world. He was instrumental to the establishment of the Minimal Intervention 2020 projects in Adelaide and other dental schools in South East Asia. He serves on the board of the Academy of Minimally Invasive Dentistry and the editorial board of the Journal of Dentistry, Journal of Oral Health and Preventive Dentistry.Hien also has an amazing backstory. He grew up in Vietnam during the war, relocating to the Philippines and later the US. with his father.
