Description: My guest for The Happy Hour #327 is Kim Walker-Smith. I definitely had a fan-girl moment the first time I met Kim in person, and I am so happy she is joining us on the podcast today! In this episode, Kim talks about the importance of finding our identity in more than just what we do, the process of writing and recording her album, and her testimony of coming to know Christ. Kim also dives heavily into how much church and leading worship has changed as a result of COVID-19, and what living a life of worship truly means. She is so transparent about how easy it can be for churches and leaders to hide behind the so-called “production” of it all. I love when she says, “When you take it all away, do you still have Jesus to offer?” That is such an important question to ask. I’m so grateful for Kim’s transparency and faithfulness to rooting her identity in what Christ has done, and who He is.
