He began his career with a major food processing company and quickly became – at the age of 25 - the manager of an $80 million operation that moved 700 truckloads of peaches, pears, and tomatoes a day (yes, a day) to processing facilities throughout California. He was able to take that big company experience to a smaller, closely held company where he became a leader and a partner.
