She goes to check it out and bumps into handyman Evan—and boy, is he something. He takes her to the nearest art supply store, and off they go—hanging out nonstop, talking about art, showing him her art, eating pizza. Sparks are flyinggggggg.But her marriage did end, and she’s not sure if she’s ready to date. Still, they keep hanging out, and she starts helping him track down an old painting by his grandmother. She finds one at an auction, but they get outbid, and Evan is real sad.Then, Shari's ex-husband calls, saying, I miss you, and she’s like, Don’t even.Meanwhile, there’s a subplot about Josh, who’s getting his own movie next week… so, I dunno.Evan gets a job offer that would take him far away, and he's like, You could ask me to stay, but she’s like, I dunno, man, I just got a divorce.But then—he does end up staying! And she’s like, I love you, you’re my muse and inspiration. And they kiss.She eventually finds him a painting by his grandma, they show it to her, and she loves it. And they decide to work on the artist co-op project together.
