Description: Watch on Philo! - Philo.tv/DTHKat hears the voicemail and freaks out, so she runs to the pond. She tells Elliot he can’t come, then jumps in. Elliot sees a jacket on the ground and suddenly gets a call from Vic Augustine—his dad.Speaking of Vic Augustine, Alice comes out of the pond and runs to the farm. It’s clear she’s not in her own time. She hears an older boy yelling at a younger boy, who’s running around with a guitar. The older boy calls him Vic Augustine and says the guitar belongs to Colt! They spot Alice and call her over. The older boy, Rick, introduces himself and invites her to join them on their way to Coyes—they’re planning to give the guitar to Rick’s best buddy, Colt.Kat shows up just after they drive off, and Vic is mean to her. She’s like, “Yeah, that tracks.”In the present day, Vic ends up showing up at Elliot’s house and tells him he’s staying there.Back in 1974, they arrive at Coyes, and Alice meets 1974 Evalyn, who is Rick’s good friend. Then Colton walks in, and Alice is like, hubba hubba—until she remembers he’s her grandpa. (I mean, I don’t know if that’s exactly what she was thinking, but that’s how it seemed to me.) Evalyn invites Alice to a party, and she really wants to go. Just then, Kat shows up and tells Alice they’re going back home, but Alice insists she wants to stay, get to know Colton, and have some fun before her life gets serious in September. Surprisingly, Kat agrees but tells her to get home safe. Wild.Meanwhile, Jacob goes to the cemetery to talk to his 1800s family. He sees his own tombstone, which he shares with his dad, and has a flashback of his dad talking about how amazing their ancestors were. Del shows up, and Jacob finally tells her the truth about why he’s there. It makes her sad.Kat watches as Alice hangs out with Colton and their friends, even singing together.1974 Del eventually shows up—she’s new in town. Jacob finally gathers the courage to talk to her, and he mentions how much he hates disco and doesn’t understand its popularity. Del says, “I love disco, and I’m a lot like it,” then storms off.At the party for the new book release, a man named Goodwin, whom no one seems to know, shows up and starts talking trash. Jacob isn’t having it and accidentally lets it slip that he lived through some of the events in the book. Everyone is like, What?! but he covers by saying his dad told him stories, and they all accept it.Later, Del and Jacob have a heart-to-heart. He assures her that he does want to be there, and she tells him she’ll stop treating him like a little boy.Elliot asks Kat to move in with him, and she’s thrilled. Alice comes back just in time to see it and is happy for them. She tells her mom she’s never going back to 1974, but Kat says, “Spoiler alert—you do, and you sing with him.”Alice learns that Rick died later that same night. She realizes Colton had walked her home, which means she must have saved his life. Determined, she decides to check on Colton.Meanwhile, Vic is tearing up Elliot’s house, demanding, “WHERE IS IT?!” Elliot asks, “Where is what?” Vic yells, “Your mom’s ring!”Alice rushes to the pond, arrives in 1974, and sees Colton jumping into the pond.
