Also, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem has invoked the Immigration and Nationality Act, giving individuals aged 14 and older who are illegally in the country a final chance to act responsibly. They can admit their illegal status, register, and leave without penalty, preserving their ability to return legally in the future. Those who fail to register will face criminal charges.
