That night I was watching the last light tuck behind the Three Sisters and paying close attention to the feeling of peace and tranquility in my heart. After weeks of being alone nearly 24 hours a day, with no electronics, I finally felt relaxed and at peace with the risks and tranquility of the wilderness. It was at this moment that I asked myself “How do you need to live in order to be in control of this feeling whenever you want it?”.
