For 28 years, he was the lead columnist for The Improper Bostonian Magazine, writing the social column and a celebrity interview in every issue and contributing numerous features. He’s written for various publications, including People Magazine, London's Royal Academy Magazine, The South China Morning Post, Modern Luxury, Dujour, The National, and the South African editions of Elle and Elle Decor. He is currently a contributing editor at Boston Magazine, writing the Person of Interest interview, a quarterly column, and travel content. He also produces travel stories for numerous national and international publications. For several years, he co-hosted a weekly radio program, “Status Report,” on Boston Herald Radio. In 2013, he published his first novel, "Crimes of Fashion.”  He serves on the Board of Overseers at The Boston Ballet, the Advisory Board of the Trustees of the Reservations, the Board of Corporators for Beaver Country Day School in Chestnut Hill, MA, and is a director of the NET Research Foundation, which funds research into carcinoid cancer and related tumours.
