Jan accidentally takes someone else's bicycle and her grades are falling. It is learned her eyesight is failing and she needs glasses – which she refuses to wear. Marcia is in a bind when a nominee drops out and Marcia becomes the other nominee against her protege Molly. She considers dropping out herself until she sees Molly's arrogant new behavior. Molly uses Marcia's campaign speech without acknowledging Marcia for her help, and with it, wins the contest. Climbing up into the treehouse for the first time, Bobby slips, falls, and sprains his ankle. Greg starts to suspect Bobby is deliberately feigning prolonged ankle pain to avoid any activity that involves heights, and Mike and Carol notice that when Bobby comes downstairs for dinner, he's not showing any signs of limping.
