I have recently had a lot of overnight guests staying in my home, and honestly, I am BURNT OUT! I just wanted to sit down and chat with you guys just in case you are feeling the same way.  I am learning to take my Personal Spaces seriously especially since I am getting older! One thing I realized is that adults.. like my mom and dad don't have sleepovers with their friends. If they do, they are going on a vacation or something! Not, staying at each other's home! And, that is mind-blowing to me.. I am getting out of that age where I FEEL its acceptable to have friends sleeping over simply because I like to be comfortable in my own home.. It's the one place I should ALWAYS be able to retreat to for solitude and comfort. ✨ This episode's Affirmation is: "My space is my sanctuary and I will always treat it as such." It's a complex emotion that can arise from various life experiences, including the passing of cherished dreams and societal challenges.  Affirmations as Tools of Resilience: In times of grief, Tyra introduces the affirmation "My Life is Beautiful and worth being lived to its fullness." She explores how affirmations act as tools for resilience, helping us reframe our perspectives and navigate the healing process. Through this lens, we can find beauty in the midst of pain, and by acknowledging the challenges, we pave the way for transformation. Embracing the Journey of Healing: Tyra emphasizes that grief is both a challenging and beautiful journey. It's a process that requires time, self-compassion, and a willingness to lean into the emotions that come with loss. No one ever said letting go and surrendering to your path was easy, but it is well worth it. On the other side of releasing what no longer serves you is inner peace, joy, and healing. In this episode, Tyra shares 25 affirmations for learning to let go. What are you holding onto that’s no longer serving you? Have you learned to release and let go? Let these affirmations be your guide. 25 Affirmations for Letting Go I am ready to accept that I have to move on.  I am ready to put my past behind me.  I release relationships that no longer serve my highest good. I will take deep breaths and let go of all stress and worry. I will free my spirit to find love and friendships.  I will not hold on to regrets or things I can no longer control.  I release the past and and embrace the present moment  As I forgive myself, it becomes easier to forgive others.  I have made peace with my past.  My mind is set free.  The things I went through do not define who I am.  I release all self-doubt. I am free to be me.  I forgive myself for any regrets that I have been holding on to. I am focused on the present.  My mind is clear of distractions.  I choose how I feel, and I feel amazing.  I let go of what no longer serves me  I trust God’s plan for my life. I forgive myself and others for situations that have caused me pain. I breathe freely without constraints.  I’m done beating myself up for what has happened in the past.  I have control over my thoughts and what I allow myself to focus on.  It feels good to let go of control and go with the flow.   I give myself permission to let go. Prayers from the Episode: Lord, help me to know when it's time to make moves, when it's time to stay planted, and when it is time to uproot. Help me to recognize the doors you’ve opened for me, and to walk through them with Your confidence. Dear God, please remove any and everything in my life that wasn't sent by you. Please give me the discernment to understand the difference between your blessings and things that were sent to be lessons. Heal my heart from any past hurts, trauma, and pain. Please open my heart to be able to accept all of the things that you are removing out of my life. I trust in you and I know that you will never leave me nor forsake me. In your name I pray. Amen Lord, I pray for clarity and peace of mind oh God. Father God please fill me with your wisdom and spirit. Father God I pray that you keep my mind, that you fortify it, that you renew it along with my spirit. Dear God, I am hurting. I know you are my provider and will bring me through. Boundaries in dating are a person’s limits in a relationship. They allow each person to maintain their needs, space, individuality and health.  Boundaries can be hard to create but ESSENTIAL in relationship, whether platonic or romantic. Today, our host, Tyra, shares some insight on how she realized she needed healthier boundaries in her romantic life and gives us some tools we can start implementing today that will help us build those fortified boundaries. Athletic Greens is giving you a FREE 1-year supply of Vitamin D AND 5 free travel packs with your first purchase. www.athleticgreens.com/affirmations     This week’s Affirmation is “ How people treat me is their karma; how I react is mine” The Biggest Takeaways from Today’s Episode on finding healthy boundaries in Dating: DECIDE HOW YOU FEEL: Decide and figure out what you will tolerate and not tolerate in your life. Anything that makes you question it or feel uneasy is a sign that this might be something you are uncomfortable with, and is outside of your boundaries. Decide what behaviors you will accept and not accept. NON-NEGOTIABLES: Decide what the consequence is when someone breaks one of your rules. It is likely to happen, so decide what your response to the problem will be. And if you have non-negotiables, address what those are clearly so your partner understands if certain lines are crossed, you will leave. COMMUNICATE/LISTEN: Communicate your boundaries clearly. Even if you’re afraid they might not agree, at the end of the day, your comfortability is the most important. And listen when your partner tells you what does or doesn’t work for them. FOLLOW THROUGH: If someone crosses your boundary then do what you said you were going to do! And express how you feel. You can be compassionate, yet firm. Tyra sits down and gets real about her break up, seasonal depression, and moving away from home and how it has all affected her life. She spent the entire month of December, at home,  reflecting on how her life has been going since this major life change. She weighs the good along with the bad, and we speak on moving forward and learn to make promises to ourselves and to always put ourselves first because you cannot give from an empty cup. In order for our cups to overflow, we have to show ourselves love, and sometimes that's hard when your life suddenly changes. This week’s Affirmation is “ My fears of tomorrow are melting away” The Biggest Takeaways from Today’s Episode on Change: Putting yourself first fills your cup. You cannot give from an empty cup, the goal is to give from your saucer. God says trouble doesn't last always.. Matthew 6:34. So do not worry on tomorrow, because change is inevitable. We are getting very real and raw today. Navigating Singleness has been a rollercoaster for Tyra and she’s only been single for a few months (as of August 2021). But, in today’s episode, we are tackling childhood trauma that influences your relationship with romantic relationships and things like envy, jealousy, and anxiety around finding “The One”. Tyra believes in order to be a whole person and be 100% available to a partner, you need to love yourself first, at least a little bit.. This week’s Affirmation is “I deserve self love.” Tyra takes some time to share her thoughts and feelings on navigating singleness while it seems like everyone around you have what you long for. And, in this episode, we learn that its okay to long for things, but a reframe always needs to happen to keep you afloat during your season of singleness. There is a reason God is saying “Not Yet” and all you can do is continue to LIVE your life and not view it as a waiting period. But, we all know that can get hard, so take a listen. This week’s Affirmation is “ How people treat me is their karma; how I react is mine” The Biggest Takeaways from Today’s Episode on finding healthy boundaries in Dating: DECIDE HOW YOU FEEL: Decide and figure out what you will tolerate and not tolerate in your life. Let me come right out and say it, most of my life I have HATED change. Yes, hate is a strong word, but I resisted change and uncomfortable situations so much that it felt like the “right” thing to do… I slowly began to realize, accepting change and finding comfort in uncomfortable situations was the key to growth. In today’s episode, Tyra is taking a deep dive into discomfort and Comfort Zones. Because as Billy Alsbrooks said, Your comfort zone is where dreams go to die. Life begins on the other end of your comfort zone, and if you truly want to live life.. We have to lay our comfort zone to rest. Yea sure, life happens, things happen, and we have to learn how to roll with the punches. Even though that's a bit cliche. It's 1000% true. This week’s Affirmation is “ I am at peace even when life gets crazy." Tyra takes some time to explain ways you can learn to master discomfort and truly start living without being a slave to the unknown world of being uncomfortable. Take a listen! The Biggest Takeaways from Today’s Episode on Mastering Discomfort: START! .. whatever it is. Don’t quit even when it gets tough. Continue to push past your comfort zone.
